The book takes you on an exploration of the Pharos Tarot, showing how the Tarot Arcana correspond to individual parts of a lighthouse system - a spiritual lighthouse and its environment deconstructed into individual philosophical components. The Lighthouse is a guide, and so is the Tarot. Yet the Lighthouse is also a metaphor for the human soul seeking the light of understanding.
Each card chapter begins with a concise three bullet summary of the meaning for each card: this alone is worth the price of the book, for it applies to all decks and has both exoteric and esoteric meanings. The next section deals with the part of the Lighthouse each Major Arcana of Pharos corresponds to, and how this relates to our spiritual journey. Next comes a summary of the meaning of the path and the corresponding Hebrew letter. Finally comes a description and explanation of the mysterious symbolism present in the art of each of the Marjor Arcana tarot cards of Pharos Tarot.
Perhaps most importantly, Spectrum Fari also has a section for each card outlining the Hermetic Golden Dawn Color Scale colors for each card, and more significant, what they signify. It's one of very few texts existing that explores the color scales of tarot in this way.
